Film / MADE IN EU

The world premiere of Made in EU took place at the Venice International Film Festival.

After that, Stefan Komandarev’s film won:

• the Grand Prize for Best Feature Film
• the Best Actress Award for actress Gergana Pletnyova
• the Youth Jury Award at the 43rd National Festival Golden Rose in Varna

This was followed by premieres at Film Fest Hamburg (Germany), CinEast Festival (Luxembourg), and the Thessaloniki IFF (Greece).

Made in EU is a Bulgarian-German-Czech co-production (Argo Film, 42film, and Negativ) and was realized with the support of the National Film Center, Bulgarian National Television, ZDF/ARTE, MDM – Germany, the Czech Film Fund, KIA Bulgaria, and TRT Turkey.
