Exhausted New York architect Daphne Bello arrives in the Rhodope Mountains to inherit the abandoned house of her grandmother, whom she never knew and who recently passed away at the age of 102. As she tries to learn more about her Bulgarian father, who is also deceased, Daphne runs into Orlin — an eccentric cousin who will try to rid her of what seems to be a useless property, all while keeping silent about the unique mineral water flowing beneath it. In the meantime, Daphne learns details about the dramatic history of her father’s family line, still alive in the memories of the local elders. But will this story help her rediscover herself?
