IL MONDO AND SYMPHONIETTA VRATSA

In a number of Bulgarian cities, together with the Vratsa Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Hristo Pavlov, the Italian soprano trio continues its “Il Mondo” tour in Bulgaria.

At the end of last season, the people of Vratsa had the chance to be the first to hear these delightful Italian singers, who triumphed on many Bulgarian stages and won the hearts of the audience forever.

This year, the concerts, starting at 19:00, begin in Pleven on May 10 at the Katya Popova Hall. The following dates are:

13 May - Sliven – Zora Community Center

14 May – Yambol - Audience Hall at Yambol Municipality

15 May – Nesebar – Artium Center Hall

16 May – Burgas – Military Club

17 May - Pomorie – Prosveta Community Center

The concert by the Italian soprano trio is a unique opportunity for Bulgarian audiences to enjoy an exciting musical experience, allowing them to immerse themselves in the world of classical music and the elegance of vocal performance.

Three exceptionally talented and wonderful Italian sopranos, Elena Rossi, Marica Frankino and Viola Sofia Nisio, will join their voices in a magical symphonic expression, with a rich program of classical opera arias, Italian melodies, Broadway hits, and selected works from the world music stage that will leave no viewer indifferent.

Elena Rossi is one of the special guests on Andrea Bocelli’s tour in the USA, Asia, and the Middle East. Marica Frankino studied with internationally renowned artists, including soprano Daniela Dessi. She collaborates with the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation and has won numerous awards, including the prize from the “Enrico Caruso 2021” committee.

Viola Sofia Nisio has won a number of prestigious international opera singing competitions; most recently, in October 2022, she won second prize at the opera singers competition in Pienza, and in November 2022 she won second prize at the “Magda Olivero” competition in Milan.

Each of them works with renowned orchestral and stage directors, and performs leading roles in the most prestigious theaters in Italy and around the world.
