"BG Marius"

A one-man show by Marius Kurkinski based on Bulgarian authors.

Synopsis:

The performance "BG Marius" can be seen as a journey through Marius Kurkinski's memories, a unique library of his favorite texts from Bulgarian literature and drama, revealing how diverse the world and way of life of the Bulgarian have been over the years.

In the performance, you can hear texts by Ivan Vazov, Nikola Vaptsarov, Stanislav Stratiev, Aleko Konstantinov, Michalaki Georgiev, Anton Strashimirov, personal correspondence between Marius and his loved ones, many other authors, and even ChatGPT.

"BG Marius" is a reminder to all of us that Bulgaria is not merely the international code "BG," but our homeland—the place where we and our ancestors were born, grew up, and chose to live our lives here, in a place with a rich history and a bright future, even with all its peculiarities.
