Napoletano

“Napoletano” is a humorous and emotional encounter between two men who, for different reasons, are forced to live on the streets. Once, both had careers, comfortable lives, and families. After meeting by chance and growing close, they decide to help the one of them who still has a chance to be happy.

Vishnevsky is a former professor of statistics, determined to end his life, when he meets Tony, a homeless man—a tough and energetic fellow who knows all there is to know about the world of the homeless. Tony adores football. He also adores Naples. The two wander through and survive in the vast city that becomes their home, filled with danger and beauty.

This play is a story about the beauty of freedom—and how meaningless it can be when you have no one to share it with. And when the leading roles are entrusted to Yulian Vergov and Petar Antonov, that is a guarantee of an evening filled with emotion, laughter, and tears.
