LAZY MAN AND LAZY WOMAN
One of the best-loved Bulgarian fairy tales in verse, Good Stewards, comes to life in an engaging performance titled Lazy Man and Lazy Woman. The production sweetly and poetically tells the story of a kind-hearted but very lazy family who, because of their laziness, loses their only goat, which feeds them, and in the end even their rickety little house. It is a story that, in an amusing way, teaches children that in life one must work and take care of the things that surround us and provide us with a livelihood and shelter. The performance enchants the audience through the use of the classical glove-puppet system — petрушки.
