Perhaps the reason for these unexpected upheavals in a person’s life is the unbearable condition of loneliness. Perhaps the fear of loneliness gives you the strength to completely change the life you have been living—to turn it upside down. And in the process, to truly see the person standing before you, perhaps even to fall in love.
