The Drunkard

Through alcohol we come into contact with the holy truths of the world and even with God himself! This revelation inspires many authors, who often use intoxication as a symbol of supreme knowledge. The story here is similar — the drunkard’s confession always begins with a certain amount of alcohol.

The motif of the wandering man is extremely widespread, but a drunken, wandering man who aimlessly drifts through his life is not a common sight. Despite all the troubles and trials fate has prepared for him, the drunkard does not break; instead, he pours himself another drink. His only faithful companion and fellow traveler through hardship and unfavorable situations is his brick-like dog, with whom he roams the dark night streets.

Alcohol helps the drunkard open his eyes and see the world with clear vision. Only when the head is spinning do the purest and highest ideas emerge within it. Each successive glass unlocks new and new revelations about the world and leads to the drunkard’s unique and comic confession.

A drunk man will drink until his own collapse, wandering aimlessly through the world. A drunkard seeking the truth that lies precisely in raising the proof. The truth is in alcohol. The truth is in the adventure of alcohol. The truth begins with one small one, without which we all wander aimlessly through the night, so let’s pour ourselves a drink! Cheers!
