A tourist trip to Amsterdam by two friends — a writer and a publisher — unexpectedly forms a strange love triangle with a woman they meet there.
The Winter of the Red Lanterns is a tragicomic play about the unrecognizability of love and the hopelessness of three young people traveling between cities and possible identities. It is also a mystically ironic story that connects social upheavals with personal misalignments.
