About the performance
Petar Denchev:
“Tested on Humans” is an artistic and social experiment that brings together Bulgarian and Romanian actors working in two different languages. They function as equal instruments of tension, humor, and violence—violence that is often passed off as normality.
The performance explores how a person gradually becomes the object of procedures—tested, assessed, and calibrated by systems and institutions, until their personal story begins to sound like a clinical case. The performance draws the audience into a real environment in order to investigate where and how control is disguised as care, and submission as choice.
Of course, at the heart of it all lies a mystery. Come and solve it!
