A Trap for Fools

As the presidential election approaches, a party trailing in the polls decides to be represented by a fool—the party first secretary’s driver—and thus have the blame for its downfall fall on his shoulders. At the same time, however, it supports an independent candidate to whom it can rally in the event of victory.

There is no shortage of election-time manipulation, collusion with the main opposing party, and a frenzied struggle over who will remain at the table of Power—and how. But the fool proves to be unpredictable... and the voters’ sentiments even more so...
