With Love for Vili Kazasyan
ДТ Търговище is the newest project of the Pleven Philharmonic featuring Hilda Kazasyan, Vasil Petrov, and Teodosii Spasov.
A concert dedicated to one of the most important figures in contemporary Bulgarian music—Vili Kazasyan.
His name is associated with the golden years of the Bulgarian National Radio Big Band and the Golden Orpheus Festival. He created numerous musical ensembles, as well as the legendary “Vili’s Trumpet” competition, and composed film music and some of the most popular Bulgarian songs.
“WITH LOVE FOR VILI KAZASYAN” can by no means be described as a traditional concert. First and foremost, it is a spectacle—musical, but also emotional—a continuous dialogue between father and daughter. Hilda Kazasyan and Vili Kazasyan will engage in an ongoing conversation through multimedia, completely transforming our perception of a musical performance.
The program will feature Vili Kazasyan’s most beloved original works, arranged by Hristo Yotsov.
The concert will feature the Pleven Philharmonic under the direction of Borislav Yotsov, along with Hristo Yotsov, Zhivko Petrov, Dimitar Karamfilov, Mikhail Yosifov, and the extraordinary Vasil Petrov and Teodosii Spasov.
The concert follows three exceptionally successful projects: the film-music projects LET’S LISTEN TO THE CINEMA and WORLD CINEMA IN MUSIC, and LOVING GERSHWIN, featuring some of George Gershwin’s most beautiful melodies.
