"Radichkov, they say, is a universe.

He has populated his world with naïfs and schemers, dreamers and doers, mystics and realists. He has created characters who lead you along a road that is both familiar and close... But also fantastical, and otherworldly...

Radichkov is a poet. His world is set in motion by laws beyond the physical. By longings and fears. By faith and doubt. By the thirst for something beyond us... All his characters sprang from Daedalus’s rib. People born to flight, temporarily grounded, temporarily anchored to the everyday and the cares of daily life. They are beings raised on tiptoe. On invisible stilts. Levitating above the mud, seeking to see something more than what has been allotted to them... People with weak gravity, birdlike and winged.

Flight is their essence. Soaring in the sky is the natural state of their spirit. And they rise above huts, pumpkins, and pigs.

And they take us by the hand, so that for at least an hour we too, the hurried dwellers in apartment blocks, may float among the clouds."
