Crossroads / Crossroads
**Arabesque Ballet – Sofia
A contemporary dance performance in three parts.
Part I — MAGPIE DORÉE
Choreography by Pablo Girolami
Part II — DON’T WORRY, BABY
Choreography by Phoebe Jewitt
Part III — GERMAN
Choreography by Antonia Dokeva
Arabesque Ballet brings together three distinctive choreographic voices in a single evening—Pablo Girolami, Phoebe Jewitt and Antonia Dokeva—in a dance dialogue about the present, memory and choice.
Antonia Dokeva’s “German” is an emblematic work from the Arabesque repertoire—a stage ritual in which archetypal memory meets contemporary dance language. Phoebe Jewitt’s “Don’t Worry, Baby” explores vulnerability as strength and the living body as a territory of irreplaceability in a world increasingly dependent on systems. Pablo Girolami’s “Magpie Dorée” raises questions about belonging, community and the freedom to remain oneself.
“Crossroads / Кръстопътища” is a meeting of generations, aesthetics and cultures—three different directions united by a single stage, where the body speaks and movement becomes a choice.
