THE THREE LITTLE PIGS

So… once upon a time there were three little pigs. They were all exactly the same, and to tell them apart they wore three different colored hats. But the colors not only made them different — they also started to divide them. Two of the piglets cared a great deal about their colors, while the third wanted them all to be friends… and this could have gone on forever.

But across the river lurked the Wolf, who, to make matters worse, was hungry. And the little pink pigs, instead of throwing away their hats and coming together in trouble, split apart completely — and forever, or so it seemed. For the third pig was right: it was not the hats that mattered, but what was under them. And while it was building its brick house, the other two were having fun, which was why their little houses turned out rather… “fun” — one of straw and one of sticks. But when the Wolf came, they were no longer having fun at all. The two piglets threw off their hats and ran to the third one to спасe themselves. And so, fate brought them together again, without hats, without colors, completely, utterly identical.

And what happened to the Wolf?

Nothing! Or rather, nothing important. What mattered happened to the piglets, because they understood that there is nothing more important than being friends. Which, after all, was something!
