Inspired by Ran Bosilek’s book of the same name, this delightful performance tells a heartwarming story about forgiveness and the power of love in human relationships.

The beloved characters—Patilanchо, Dancho, and Danka—enjoy amusing games and songs, though from time to time they also get into mischief, often with the best of intentions. Then Grandma Tsotsolana gets angry and scolds her little ones.

Her quarrelsome and vain neighbor Stanka gives Grandma Tsotsolana advice on how to make herself more beautiful: she should become a vegetarian to lose weight, visit the hairdresser, and apply a white cream and special pomade to look fairer and younger. But Patilancho accidentally brings her shoe polish instead of the face-whitening cream. The next morning, Grandma Tsotsolana is horrified by the unpleasant surprise awaiting her in the mirror and, furious, sends Patilancho away from her home.

He leaves, and his friends Danka and Dancho go with him to show their support. Grandma Tsotsolana soon regrets her decision, however, because she misses the children terribly and realizes that the most important things in her life are their laughter and love—without them, she feels very lonely. The mischievous little ones return because they love her too, and they quickly forgive her for being harsh with Patilancho. Everyone embraces, delighted to be together again.
