Cinderella

The play Cinderella unfolds before children’s eyes the timeless tale of the hardships of poverty and the beauty of the enchanted palace toward which we all aspire.

Through the story of the poor orphan and the trials she faces, as well as the cruelty of her stepmother and stepsister, the production leads its young audience along the path of the eternal struggle between good and evil.

The young spectators become active participants in the action. They are the ones who help Cinderella gather the grains; they are the ones who lead her to the palace; and they also take part in the Prince’s ball. Once they are drawn out of the role of observers, they compete to be “good” and rush to help the just cause. And in the end, kindness triumphs—on stage and in the hearts of children.

For what else would be the meaning of life if children did not turn their dreams into reality?
