BOY AND THE WIND

This project will be an intriguing dramatization of the familiar Bulgarian folk tale, intertwined with symbolism and lessons for children.

• Fiu-u-u... Fiu-u-u...

The wind blew, snatched up the flour, and carried it away to who knows where. The boy ran after the wind. He ran and ran... Fell, got up... ran again... But can you ever catch the Wind?!

• Chasing the wind is a pointless task!
• The wind scatters and destroys!
• The wind does no work!
• And if the wind goes mad with rage, it will roar and rush at you... and even the devil won’t be able to help you!

In our performance, the classic folk tale is enriched with new situations and characters. The Field, the Forest, the Mountain, and the Devil will stand in the boy’s way. How he makes his way through them and whether he manages to catch the wind, you will find out for yourselves. We will only remind you that the one who succeeds is clever, persistent, and fearless!
