La Traviata
Opera
Giuseppe Verdi’s opera is not only perhaps the most beloved by opera audiences around the world, but means much more to the people of Ruse, because it was with a production of La Traviata in 1949 that the Ruse Opera was born — ready for a rich and full-blooded life.
Today, with yet another production of La Traviata, the Ruse Opera proudly places its crown, lavishly adorned by the brilliance of the talents of its soloists, choir members, ballet artists, and instrumentalists — in a performance that successfully showcases the artistic richness of the Ruse opera theatre.
The festive performance is the place where, every year in autumn, the musicians and artists of the Ruse opera theatre meet with its spiritual supporters — donors, sponsors, faithful friends, as well as the citizens of Ruse.
