Meet Your Parents
Every relationship has its own story. He thinks he’s about to meet her parents. She thinks she’ll be able to hide her past. And the “parents” aren’t quite sure what exactly he wants from them—or who she even is. In the awkward meeting between the four of them, everyone starts talking about different things, yet each believes they know the truth, without realizing they are not talking about the same thing. Small lies told with good intentions collide with big misunderstandings. And in that collision, the funniest part is that no one is lying completely—they’re simply all confusing who exactly they know.
Meet Your Parents is a brilliant situational comedy built on a subtle sense of humor, witty dialogue, and unexpected twists. In the world of this play, truth is a matter of perspective, and every encounter is a comedy of errors.
