Heart of the Beast

Heart of the Beast follows Special Forces officer James Belmont and his four-legged combat companion, Odin, who are stranded in one of Alaska’s wildest and most inhospitable regions after a devastating plane crash—a place known as “the Heart of the Beast.”

Cut off from all help and faced with deadly natural conditions, the two must draw on every skill and instinct they possess to survive. As they battle the cold, wild animals, and exhaustion, a story of loyalty, friendship, and mutual salvation unfolds between them.
