Dr. Prentice is looking for a new secretary, but what seems like a routine interview turns into a cascade of mistaken identities, undressing and dressing up, unexpected checks, and situations teetering on the brink of scandal. In a world where “normal” is relative, the line between doctor and patient begins dangerously to blur.

The play "Psycho" also has a successful film adaptation from the 1970s, which cemented its cult status and popularized Orton’s trademark black humor, provocation, and social satire.

The author Joe Orton remains in history as one of the most radical and scandalous British playwrights, whose comedies attack hypocrisy, power, and moral clichés with wit and merciless irony. Although his life ended tragically, his work continues to captivate stages around the world.
