Box office terms
Effective 2026-10-13
These Terms form part of your Organizer Agreement with Entase and apply to every Organizer. Terms defined there have the same meaning here.
1. What this covers
1.1 These Terms cover your use of the Platform to sell Tickets in person, at your own box office, and to see those sales in your reporting alongside online sales.
1.2 They do not cover online sales, which are covered by clause 5 of the Organizer Agreement.
2. Handling of box office money
2.1 For box office sales, you collect payment directly, into your own till, your own card terminal and your own bank account. We do not receive, hold, transmit or have any claim to box office proceeds.
2.2 Clause 5 of the Organizer Agreement — under which we conclude sales as your agent and receive payment on your behalf — does not apply to box office sales. You sell directly to the Buyer.
2.3 Nothing you record in the Platform for a box office sale creates an entry in your Settlement Wallet, and no box office amount is ever payable by us to you.
3. What Entase provides
3.1 Access to the Platform's box office functions: reservation, seat allocation, issuing Tickets, validating entry, and reporting.
3.2 Synchronisation between box office and online inventory, so the same seat is not sold twice.
3.3 Box office sales appear in your reports and statistics, and in the reports of the Selling Organizer where an Event is co-hosted.
4. What you provide, and what is yours to do
4.1 Your own card terminal or payment arrangement, your own cash handling, and your own bank account.
4.2 Your own fiscal device or equivalent, and all documentation of the sale required by the law of the Event Territory. This is entirely yours. We do not issue fiscal documents for box office sales and the Platform's records are not a substitute for them.
4.3 Training and supervision of your box office staff.
4.4 Everything in clause 10 of the Organizer Agreement continues to apply.
5. Personal data at the box office
5.1 Your box office staff may record a Buyer's name, email address or telephone number against a Ticket. Where they do, that Buyer can be admitted under clause 9.2 of the Organizer Agreement even without presenting the Ticket.
5.2 Where no personal details are recorded, the Ticket is anonymous and the holder must present it to be admitted. Clause 9.3 of the Organizer Agreement applies. Tell Buyers this at the point of sale.
5.3 For box office sales you are the controller of any personal data recorded and we are your processor. The Data Processing Agreement applies.
6. Fees
Fees for box office functions, if any, are set out in the Fee Schedule. At the version date of these Terms the Fee Schedule shows box office functions at no charge.
7. How long these terms apply
7.1 These Terms apply for as long as your Organizer Agreement does. You are never obliged to use the box office functions, and you may stop using them at any time without telling us.
7.2 When your Organizer Agreement ends, these Terms end with it, subject to the run-off in clause 17.4 of that Agreement.
