    Co-hosted events terms

    Effective 2026-10-13

These Terms form part of your Organizer Agreement with Entase and apply to every Organizer. They have effect only where you create or are designated on a Co-hosted Event. Terms defined in the Organizer Agreement have the same meaning here.

    1. What this covers

1.1 A Co-hosted Event is an Event created in the Platform by one Organizer where a different Organizer is entitled to the proceeds. The most common case is a venue hosting a visiting company's production.

    1.2 In these Terms:

    • the Host Organizer is the Organizer that creates the Event in the Platform and typically provides the venue;
    • the Selling Organizer is the Organizer entitled to the proceeds, as defined in the Organizer Agreement.

1.3 Both must have a current Organizer Agreement with us. The Platform will not let a Host Organizer designate anyone else.

    2. One selling organizer, and only one

2.1 Every Co-hosted Event has exactly one Selling Organizer, designated when the Event is created and before it is published.

2.2 From that point the Event behaves in every respect as though the Selling Organizer had created it. Tickets are sold in the Selling Organizer's name and for its account, proceeds are recorded to its Settlement Wallet, Fees are invoiced to it, and the Event appears in its reporting — including box office sales.

2.3 The designation is locked once the first Ticket is sold. It cannot be changed afterwards.

2.4 We do not move money between Organizers. There is no transfer from the Host Organizer to the Selling Organizer: the proceeds belong to the Selling Organizer from the moment a Buyer pays, under clause 6.1 of the Organizer Agreement.

2.5 Revenue from a single Event cannot be split between Organizers within the Platform.

    3. Authority — this is the host organizer's obligation

3.1 By designating a Selling Organizer, the Host Organizer warrants that it has that Organizer's authority to do so, and that the two of them have agreed which of them is entitled to the proceeds.

3.2 The Host Organizer indemnifies us under clause 15.7 of the Organizer Agreement against any claim arising from a designation it was not authorised to make.

3.3 Any arrangement between the Host Organizer and the Selling Organizer — fees, splits, venue hire, box office cash — is between them. We are not a party to it, do not see it, and will not adjudicate it.

    4. Who is responsible for what

4.1 The Selling Organizer is responsible for the Event as against Buyers and as against us: staging it, delivering what was advertised, refunds and cancellations, consumer claims, tax on admission, and everything in clause 10 of the Organizer Agreement. It is the party we invoice.

4.2 The Host Organizer has access to the Event in the Platform for operational purposes — ticketing, door validation, reporting — and remains responsible for the venue and for what it does with that access.

4.3 Where the Host Organizer records information about the Event in the Platform, it does so on behalf of the Selling Organizer, and clause 4.2 of the Organizer Agreement (accurate Event status) binds both of them.

    5. What the buyer sees

5.1 We display the Selling Organizer as the seller of the Ticket, at every stage of purchase, on the Ticket and in the confirmation. The Buyer's contract is with the Selling Organizer.

5.2 Where the Host Organizer provides the venue, we display it separately and distinctly, as venue or host — never in a way that suggests it is the seller.

5.3 Both Organizers must make sure their own communications about the Event are consistent with clauses 5.1 and 5.2, so that a Buyer is not left thinking they bought from the venue.

    6. Box office

Box office sales for a Co-hosted Event are collected by whichever Organizer operates the box office, into its own accounts, under the Box Office Terms. They appear in the Selling Organizer's reporting. Any transfer of box office cash between the two Organizers is a matter between them, outside Entase.

    7. How long these terms apply

7.1 These Terms apply for as long as your Organizer Agreement does. You are never obliged to co-host, and either Organizer may decline future co-hosting at any time.

7.2 Declining future co-hosting does not affect a Co-hosted Event already on sale, which continues under clause 17.4 of the Organizer Agreement.
